In 2010, starting with nothing more than the name the owners had agreed upon and an understanding of what their search engine would be capable of, we worked with the Foodily team for several months concpeting and then refining the front end and user experience to arrive at an intuitive, user friendly way of harnessing the power of the search capability that their engineering team had created.
Aiming away from the homely and “women’s magazine” styling that is ubiquitous in the food and recipe search market, Foodily wanted their brand and site to be stylish and premium in its feel yet still approachable and inclusive.
