The new identity draws influence from early European Modernism and denotes LSM’s growing European portfolio. The logotype is set in U8, which is based on lettering and signage used for the Berlin U-Bahn subway.
Washington-based architectural practice LSM is world-renowned for producing award-winning buildings and interiors. Despite the company’s reputation for precision, quality and rigour, its previous brand and communication channels lacked these attributes.
Six created a new visual identity for LSM, drawing influence from early European modernism. Together with a monotone palette, the new logotype reflects the confidence of the practice and the simplicity of its designs and style.
The accompanying redesigned website has an elegant, bold and functional aesthetic, with large-scale photography taking centre stage. The new site allows LSM to celebrate projects creatively, while detailing its commitment to producing exceptional and effective spaces.
